Senior School Fees

Leweston has rebuilt its fee structure to ensure that, where boarding or extra wrap-around care would help, we have practical options available when you need them. Our fees are designed to be straightforward, with options ranging from occasional overnight flexibility built into every day place, through to fully inclusive international boarding. All fees for 2026/27 are set out below.

Registration and Deposit

Registration fee (Senior School) — £120 Deposit (UK and Europe) — £500 Deposit (International) — £3,500

A deposit is payable before entry to confirm acceptance of the offer of a place. The deposit must accompany the signed Parent Contract and a place is not confirmed until the deposit is received. The deposit is forfeited if your child does not then take up this place. 

Leweston Plus

A safety net for every family. A day place which runs from 08.00 to 17.45 Monday to Friday and three complimentary overnight stays per year. Ideal for families who value occasional flexibility without a regular boarding commitment.

Years 7 and 8 — £7,909 per term

Years 9 to 11 — £8,475 per term

Years 12 and 13 — £8,286 per term

Leweston Flex

Two guaranteed nights per week, an allocated bed and personal storage in the boarding house. Additional nights available at the Frequent Sleeper rate of £40 per night. 

Years 7 and 8 — £9,339 per term

Years 9 to 11 — £9,900 per term

Years 12 and 13 — £9,750 per term

Leweston Full

Seven nights available per week. Whether your child comes home at the weekend is your family's decision, made week by week.

Years 7 and 8 — £11,793 per term

Years 9 to 13 — £12,880 per term

Leweston Sixth

A private study bedroom in the boarding house. Overnight stays booked as needed at the Frequent Sleeper rate of £40 per night - no minimum commitment. Subject to availability.

Years 12 and 13 — £9,350 per term plus £40 per overnight stay

Ad Hoc Overnight Rates

A bed when you need one. All families can book an overnight stay without a boarding package. Three published rates, no booking fees.

Standby — £60 per night — emergency booking within 24 to 48 hours

Sleepover — £48 per night — standard ad hoc overnight stay

Frequent Sleeper — £40 per night — additional nights for Flex boarders and Leweston Sixth stays

Discounts and Fee Remissions

Sibling Discount

Where two or more children from the same family attend Leweston simultaneously, the following discounts apply to the youngest child's fees.

Two children attending — 5% discount on youngest child's fees

Three children attending — youngest child receives 10%, second child receives 5%

Four or more children — youngest 15%, second 10%, third 5%

The discount applies from Year 1 upwards and is not available where a bursary or other fee remission is in place.

Forces Families (CEA)

Leweston welcomes boarders whose families receive the Continuity of Education Allowance. Leweston is a 10%+ school which means that CEA parents pay 10% of fees in accordance with MoD regulations. Find out more on our Military Families page.

Bursaries

Our bursaries are for pupils who will thrive at Leweston but whose family circumstances mean the school fees are otherwise unaffordable. 

A bursary is means tested reduction in fees.  Bursary awards can take many forms but are typically worth between 10-20% of the fees. All bursaries are subject to annual review and pupils must be registered to make an application. If you have any questions about bursaries please email fees@leweston.dorset.sch.uk for more advice.

Payments

Fees are charged in three equal termly instalments. A direct debit scheme is available, allowing each term's fees to be spread across three, ten or twelve monthly instalments at no extra cost.

A 2% discount is available for annual payments made before the Autumn Term bill is issued for the following academic year. A Fees in Advance scheme is also available please contact the Finance team for current rates.

Leweston has partnered with Flywire to offer UK based families the option to make easy and secure online payments for Registration Fees and Deposits. 

International families can use the platform to pay tuition fees - please see International Fees.
